WETLAND
RESTORATION

Wetlands play a vital role in improving water quality, managing floodwaters, and providing habitat for a wide range of plant and animal species. At The Stanger Group, our wetland restoration work focuses on reestablishing hydrology, enhancing native vegetation, and creating stable, functioning wetland systems that benefit both the environment and surrounding land use while contributing to long-term ecological health.

We restore and create wetlands by recontouring land, managing water flow, and planting native wetland species. These efforts are often applied to former agricultural fields or degraded landscapes where natural wetland function has been lost.

Each wetland project is approached with ecological integrity and sustainability in mind, helping to support biodiversity, improve watershed function, and strengthen the surrounding landscape.
